DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a safe and gentle exfoliation treatment that uses a medical-grade blade to remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair (peach fuzz). It leaves your skin noticeably softer, smoother, and more radiant!

By removing the outer layer of dull skin, dermaplaning enhances the effectiveness of your skincare products and creates a flawless base for makeup. It’s an ideal treatment for anyone looking to refresh their complexion and boost skin’s natural glow.

Please note that dermaplaning is not recommended for active acne such as cystic acne, reactive, or flaky skin. A consultation is performed before every appointment to ensure the treatment is right for you.

If you’re not a candidate for dermaplaning, we recommend our 60-Minute Signature Facial, which includes all the same steps as our 70-Minute Dermaplane Facial — just without the dermaplaning.

Post-Treament Care

Proper aftercare is essential to protect your newly exfoliated skin and maintain your glow. For the first 5–7 days after your treatment, follow these guidelines:

– Avoid exfoliators and active ingredients
Skip scrubs, retinoids, and acids (AHAs/BHAs like glycolic or salicylic) to prevent over-exfoliation.

– Protect your skin from direct sunlight
Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily and avoid prolonged sun exposure.

– Avoid extreme heat
No hot yoga, saunas, steam rooms, or direct hot water on your face for 24–48 hours.

– Stay out of chlorinated water
Pools and hot tubs can irritate newly exfoliated skin.

– Avoid heavy makeup for 24 hours
Let your skin breathe. If you must wear makeup, use clean brushes and non-comedogenic products.

– Use gentle, hydrating skincare
Stick to fragrance-free cleansers and moisturizers with calming ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and ceramides.

– Don’t touch or pick your face
Your skin may feel irresistibly smooth, but touching can introduce bacteria and cause irritation.

– Be cautious with workouts
Avoid heavy sweating for 24 hours to reduce the risk of irritation.

– Change your pillowcase and linens
Sleep on a clean, soft pillowcase the night of your treatment. Fresh bedding helps prevent bacteria from irritating your sensitive skin.

– Avoid dirty or expired makeup and tools
Do not apply makeup with unwashed brushes or sponges. Toss expired products and sanitize tools before using them again on freshly treated skin.

Bonus Tip:

Your skin may react differently to products post-treatment. Reintroduce active ingredients slowly after a few days and always patch test if unsure.
